Here are some photos taken from our visit to the Isle of Skye in May 2008. These photos were taken on the rest days ie. not while walking in the hills. Included are pictures from a trip to the home of Gavin Maxwell, author of several books including Ring of Bright Water which sold more than a million copies and was made into a film starring Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna in 1969. He was also known for his work with otters (which was the subject of Ring of Bright Water). There are also a few shots taken around the village of Isle Orsnay where we stayed.
