Photographs from Hiking Holiday in Scotland, August 2007
Here are a few photos I took while hiking and camping in the Mamores in the Scottish Highlands. Here's proof that, contrary to popular belief, the sun does shine in Scotland! I have the sunburn/tan to prove it. The weather couldn't have been better, although the heat makes it difficult lugging an 11 kg (plus food and water) rucksack up and down the hills. It was well worth it though for the incredible views, and the perfectly clear night on Wednesday made for some fantastic star gazing. With no light polution anywhere near, every star in the sky was so clearly visible.
