Photos from Gent and Brugge
During my visit to the Tour of Flanders, I managed to do some very brief sight-seeing around Gent. Our busy schedule made it impossible to spend any length of time exploring Gent but I managed to get out before breakfast one day and take a few photographs, some of which appear on this page. Also on this page are a couple of photos taken in Brugge which we visited very briefly due to the race starting from the Town Square.
Gent is the fourth largest city of Belgium with approx imately 250,000 inhabitants and is the capital of the Belgian province of East-Flanders.
