The 2002 Oxford vs Cambridge boat race

Here are some photographs of the Oxford vs Cambridge boat race held on the Thames River, London on 31st March, 2002. There are 2 races - the reserve race followed by the main race.

Unfortunately the photos here don't provide very detailed views of the race. A small, "point-and-click" digital camera is not really designed to take photos like this especially when you have to reduce them in size so much to suit an internet web page. I need a nice SLR camera with large telephoto lens for that. I'm working on a method to show more detailed versions of these photos. Click on the appropriate thumbnail to view the pictures.
